Wylie ISD utilizes social media as a tool to engage and communicate with parents, students, staff and the community. Wylie ISD uses Facebookand Instagram to regularly release news, photos and videos. The district also uses the platforms to answer questions in the form of two-way communication with parents and the community. The platform provides instant information and allows the district to use this as another effective tool of communication.

Note: Social media is NOT the primary form of communication used by the district in emergency situations. Parents/guardians will get an email through the district's mass notification system if the situation directly impacts their child's campus.
